In 104 AD, the Kingdom of Elrondia was founded by the visionary ruler King Aelor after the unification of several tribes and city-states. Seeking peace and prosperity, he established a central government and declared Elrondia a sovereign nation. The first laws of the kingdom were written to ensure order, justice, and stability throughout the land. New roads, settlements, and trade routes connected distant regions and strengthened the economy. The founding of Elrondia marked the beginning of a powerful civilization that would endure for centuries.
At his death, King Aelor had 2 seventeen-year-old twins: Jakie and Otto. Being twins, a dispute over the coronation of the successor began. The generals of Aelor's royal guards thought the twins were not capable of managing the kingdom and preferred to crown the best general. Otto manages to kill Jakie, thus becoming the official king, and expels the generals from the kingdom.
After Otto expelled all the veteran generals of his father's royal guards, they took refuge abroad, plotting a coup. Thanks to their knowledge of the royal castle, they knew weak points to infiltrate. They used a merchant ship to return to the kingdom, but the ship lost its sail near the coast. The Royal Navy, rushing to rescue the sailors, found the generals, weapons, and documents about the plans. The generals tried to destroy the documents before the Navy arrived, so the kingdom that helped and financed the plan against Otto and Elrondia is unknown. They were all executed. It is thought that the plan was so well made that it was almost 100% certain to succeed.
In 287 AD, King Vaelor II ordered the construction of the Great Canal of Elrondia to connect the northern rivers with the southern trade ports. The massive project improved transportation, boosted commerce, and united distant provinces. The canal became a symbol of innovation and economic strength, helping Elrondia enter a golden age of prosperity.
In 512 AD, after decades of border conflicts, the neighboring kingdoms signed the Treaty of Silver Hills. The agreement established lasting peace, opened new trade routes, and encouraged cultural exchange between nations. Historians consider the treaty a turning point that brought stability and growth to the region for generations.
In 689 AD, Queen Elyra founded the Library of Dawn in the capital city of Elrondia. Scholars, inventors, and historians from across the realm gathered to preserve knowledge and share discoveries. The library became a center of learning, accelerating scientific progress and inspiring generations of thinkers.
In 700 AD, a professional band joined the Library of Dawn to study and compose the kingdom's official anthem. The anthem includes references to King Aevol, peace, sailors, and ships, as well as describing mythical beings told about by the first trading merchants, calling these beings 'protectors and avengers'.
In 921 AD, following years of regional tensions, the leaders of Elrondia organized the first Festival of Unity. Citizens from every province celebrated their shared heritage through music, trade, and cultural traditions. The event strengthened national identity and became an annual tradition that endured for centuries.
House of Wilson begins its reign as King Henry I is crowned under the laws of Elrondia.
A monarchy has been established in Elrondia. Nominations for the throne are now open.

Called by the head of government or the monarch, or held automatically in a new country's first year. For one year the usual constitutional-change cooldown is suspended, so a new package can be opened as soon as the previous one closes, and the cost of opening a constitutional change package is capped at 75 PP however many changes it contains. Only one package can be open for voting at a time and voting thresholds are unchanged. Once the convention ends, another cannot be called for 10 years. It does not skew elector positions or change salience — its effects are purely on the constitutional change mechanics.
