Democratic Reform of 2019
6 measures · Proposed by Left Forward
Name · 4 powers · 1 amendment
A modern democracy requires more than free elections. It requires institutions that are transparent, accountable, independent, and worthy of the public's trust. This reform package modernises Saxenheim's constitutional framework by reaffirming our democratic identity, strengthening the separation of powers, and establishing transparency as a fundamental principle of government. By clarifying institutional responsibilities, reducing political interference in independent oversight, and guaranteeing public access to government information, these reforms strengthen the rule of law and reinforce the principle that all public authority exists to serve the people. Together, these amendments lay the foundation for a more open, accountable, and resilient Republic, one in which democratic institutions are stronger, citizens are better informed, and government is exercised with integrity, transparency, and respect for constitutional principles.

Repeal of Constitutional provisions concerning flag, language and the national anthem
1 measure · Proposed by Alliance For Digital Freedom And Rights
1 amendment
We strongly believe that a national flag should be approved with as wide a majority as possible. Considering that in the future it might be possible to amend it, we believe that a constitutional provision chaining down the Parliament is better repealed. The same holds true for the national anthem, which may be approved with an ordinary law, and language policies, which should be flexible and adapt to society.

This Amendment establishes the fundamental principles upon which a free and just society is built: the protection of human dignity, the sovereignty of the people, and equality before the law. By recognizing dignity as inviolable, it places the individual at the center of constitutional order and limits the abuse of state power. By affirming that all political authority derives from the people, it strengthens democratic legitimacy, accountability, and transparency in governance. By guaranteeing equality and prohibiting discrimination, it ensures that rights and opportunities are protected for all people regardless of status, origin, identity, or belief. Together, these principles create a constitutional foundation for democracy, justice, and social stability.
