This amendment removes the mandatory waiting period between constitutional amendments. It allows necessary constitutional changes to be introduced and approved more quickly when circumstances require it, while keeping the normal constitutional approval process in place.

These changes improve accountability, clarify responsibility, and ensure elected leaders have the authority necessary to govern effectively. We believe democratic government must be both representative and accountable to the people.

Expanding the Industry and Trade portfolio to include Economy and Energy reflects the growing importance of coordinated economic strategy and long‑term energy security. Modern challenges require a ministry that can align industrial development, trade policy, and national energy planning under one coherent framework. Creating a dedicated Minister of Health strengthens the government’s ability to manage public healthcare, hospitals, and medical services. As health systems become more complex and resource‑intensive, a standalone ministry ensures clearer accountability, better policy focus, and more effective national health planning.

Our electoral cycles are untennable, by decreasing the amount of time that passes, and by changing the amount of time between elections for both legislative chambers we aim to better the heatlh of our democracy. It is the only way to maintain a competetive and engaged political sphere, else we risk isolating parties and electors that wish to participate in our democracy. Additionally, this will force all members of the legislative to continue their work in a more competetive manner for the people, as they will not have the luxury to secure their tenure and remain uncompetetive in the case that one party controls the legislative; another consequence of our prolonged electoral cycle.
