We’re dead last—zero dollars per person, while our peers spend $282 on arts, culture, and media, and we’re not talking about some far-off place, this is right here in our backyard. Spending $250 per person isn’t some wild demand, it’s just bringing us up to where any civilized place already is, and we’re tired of being 100% below the median while our kids get shut out of theaters, music, and stories that belong to all of us.

“We don't love the idea of raising completely unnecessary spending, but by lowering taxes and massively cutting welfare spending, we could glean enough money to raise arts spending while still increasing the overall surplus.”
“We'll deliver it by investing 15% into the Arts immediate we will also support independent projects for the industry of Arts and we encourage national Identity”
“Democratic Union pledges to raise arts, culture and media spending to at least $250 per person. We will fund libraries, theatres, museums, music, local cultural projects and independent media through transparent, arm’s-length programs, ensuring public support strengthens creativity and access without political interference.”
“We will spend more to make more. We pledge this amount and will enact it through the budget.”
