Drumagh Economic Support Treaty
Based on a draft by Northsea National Union
Preamble
The parties in the treaty agree to strengthen trade, investment and economic stability while preserving the full sovereignty and independent foreign policy of all states.
Article I — Economic Cooperation
All parties shall promote trade, investment, cross-border commerce and access to essential goods between Treaty's parties an Drumagh.
Article II — Economic Coercion
If either party is subjected to a hostile embargo or economic coercion intended to seriously destabilize its economy, the other party may independently impose an embargo or other proportionate economic measures against the responsible state.
Article III — Sovereignty and Neutrality
This treaty creates no military alliance and no automatic obligation to act against another country. All measures remain subject to the independent decision of each government.
Article IV — Duration
The agreement remains in force until terminated by either party according to the treaty mechanics.
Article V — Economic Policy Commitments
For the duration of this treaty, all parties shall keep the following laws within these permitted settings:

- Mixed regime: tariffs on some staples, intervention only in a crisis
- Open agricultural trade; intervention only in emergencies

- Strong prudential oversight
- Light-touch regulation
- Deregulated financial centre

Foreign Investment & Takeovers must be one of:
- Screening of sensitive sectors on national-security grounds
- Government veto over foreign takeovers of strategic firms
- Foreign stakes capped at 49% in every company

Online Retail & Marketplaces must be one of:
- Marketplaces liable for illegal or unsafe third-party goods; standard returns rights
- Limited platform liability; minimal checks on small cross-border parcels
- Digital-first: e-signatures, no local-presence rules, open cross-border selling
