We’re barely scraping by with just $72 a person for arts, culture and media while the rest of the world spends $266, and 73% of comparable countries spend more than us—yet our leaders still won’t raise it to $250 like they should. It’s a disgrace that we’re ranked so far behind when we know we could be giving our communities the same opportunities everyone else enjoys.
The numbers behind the demand

“Increase arts, culture and media spending progressively to $250 per person, treating culture as a strategic investment rather than simple public consumption. Funding will prioritize national heritage, youth talent, arts education, museums, creative industries and digital media. A dedicated program will support young artists, creators and cultural entrepreneurs, helping them develop skills and build sustainable careers in Zorat. Investment will also modernize cultural institutions and expand access to cultural activities across all communities, ensuring that opportunities are not concentrated in major cities. Public funding will favor projects that strengthen Zorat’s national identity, encourage innovation and create measurable social or economic value. The government will review spending annually, redirecting resources toward successful programs and eliminating ineffective ones. Our goal is to build a vibrant cultural sector that preserves Zorat’s heritage preparing it for the future.”
