Our elite earners are taxed at a ridiculous 42%, while the rest of the world keeps it reasonable at 38%—that’s 4 points higher than our peers! It’s pure class warfare to punish success like this; if we really want jobs and growth, we should drop it down to 35% and stop driving away the very people who create wealth in the first place.
