Raise healthcare spending

Issued by the voters of Levonia on Jan. 1, 2022.

We’re spending $1346 per person on healthcare while the rest of the world spends $2511, and that’s just plain insulting when we know we could be putting $2400 to work to give people decent care. Nearly half of us are stuck below what even our peers can manage, and yet the system still won’t cough up what it takes to fix the clinics and hire the nurses we need.

Broken promise held power: top3:honorary-council

“Delivery Plan: Levonia Healthcare Comprehensive Reform 1. Fiscal Restructuring & Budget Reallocation: We will systematically redirect excess administrative funding and optimize bureaucratic expenditures directly toward regional healthcare initiatives, aiming to sustainably bridge the gap toward the $2400 per-person target without placing an undue burden on taxpayers. 2. Infrastructure Modernization: Immediate capital allocation will be deployed to fully renovate, equip, and upgrade local clinics across all districts. This ensures reliable, high-quality medical access and modern facilities in every community, directly addressing past infrastructural neglect. 3. Workforce Enhancement & Retention: To tackle severe nurse shortages and heavy workloads, we are introducing competitive recruitment incentives, hazard allowances, retention bonuses, and expanded training support to attract and retain vital medical professionals.”
