“We support strong privacy protections and the right of every worker to keep their private life free from unnecessary government surveillance. However, workers should not have to choose between earning a living and caring for their families. Paid parental leave is an important worker protection, and removing it would place an unfair burden on working families. We also support educational freedom, but basic standards are necessary to ensure that every child receives a proper education. We believe individual liberty must go hand in hand with strong rights and protections for working people.”
