Voting record

Every vote must state a public reason. Most recent first.

Avalon First
Voted April 1, 2020
No

“The idea that our workers should give their lives to supporting this country’s society and economy, only to be told that they must wait until the age of 70 to retire, is absolutely ridiculous. We oppose this bill strongly on that basis alone.”

Dockworkers Union
Voted March 2, 2020
No

“We support a secure and affordable energy supply, but believe Port Avalon should focus on offshore wind, tidal energy, green hydrogen, and modern energy infrastructure instead of a major nuclear expansion. At the same time, we cannot support raising the retirement age to 70, removing meaningful protections around shop trading hours, dismantling public broadcasting, or broadly deregulating gambling without appropriate safeguards. Economic modernization must benefit working people as well as businesses.”
