Proposer's case
This change is necessary for a more democratic Kalpetia. We no longer have a monarchy, so the name "The Republic of Kalpetia" should replace "The Kingdom of Kalpetia." The number of seats in the National Assembly and the Senate has been realistically reorganized. Normally, the Senate should have fewer seats than the National Assembly. The number of seats in the National Assembly has been increased to improve representation. Furthermore, to prevent any party controlling the Consulate and the Cabinet from engaging in authoritarian actions again, to ensure no party's activities are restricted, and to prevent the arrest of any political figure, the powers of regulating political parties and the Chief of Police have been entrusted to impartial and professional bureaucrats. We will not allow authoritarianism. For a stronger Kalpetia, let's say "Yes."

| Red Alliance | 0 | No | We are deeply concerned about the provisions regarding the police and the oversight of political parties. To us, this appears to be an attempt to decentralize the state power structure, masked by the high-profile "Republic" amendment. Changes to the oversight authority for the police and political parties will result in accountability for errors being diffused across multiple layers of the bureaucratic system. |
