This budget aims to adress people's concerns while keeping the budget in a surplus
Proposed changes
- Decrease spending on justice, police & internal security from $100.0bn to $75.0bn
- Increase spending on environment & climate from $0.0bn to $50.0bn
- Decrease spending on public transport & rail from $57.1bn to $22.1bn
This will decrease total budgeted spending by $10.0bn annually.
This will increase the annual surplus from $109.9bn to $119.9bn.
