“The Good Governance Coalition supports this legislation to advance sensible deregulation and administrative efficiency. It is our firm ideals that good governance is about focusing state capacity where it truly matters. We infer that to replace the fee-based licensing system with unrestricted access; the state will eliminate costly red tape that disproportionately burdens agricultural workers and rural families who rely on subsistence hunting. The state's administrative energy should not be tied down in micromanaging traditional outdoor sports and extracting arbitrary permit fees from the working class.”
