Rationale
Azonia was facing a catastrophic structural deficit that threatened the very fabric of our society. This budget proves that fiscal responsibility does not require the abandonment of our progressive values. By asking high and elite earners to contribute their fair share, we have successfully fully funded our healthcare system, expanded social welfare, protected our vital infrastructure, and delivered a historic tax cut to low-income families; all while turning a $53.5bn deficit into a sustainable surplus. This is a budget for the people.
