Rationale

Past legislation on hunting and foreign land ownership has already been a step in the right direction. However, we can now take steps towards eliminating loopholes in the system by outlawing hunting for sport entirely and mandating government approval for land purchases.

Proposed Changes

1

Hunting & Field Sports
Previous law
Tightly restricted
Total ban on hunting for sport

2

Foreign Land Ownership
Previous law
Foreign ownership limited to commercial property only; residential banned
Foreign purchases require government approval
