Seventeen percent is highway robbery for folks just trying to get by—medium earners shouldn’t be the ones footing the bill while the real fat cats skate by. Five percent is what we deserve, plain and simple, because the wealthiest can afford to pay their fair share instead of dumping all the weight on our backs.
