Seventeen hundred twenty-eight bucks a person for our kids’ education? That’s a joke. We’re not asking for some wild fantasy—just fifty percent more, so every child gets two thousand six hundred dollars to learn. It’s not a luxury, it’s a downright necessity, and we’re done settling for peanuts.
The numbers behind the demand
Pledges (1)
“The Popular Front pledges to increase education spending from $1,728 to $2,600 per person over the course of the next parliamentary term. We will achieve this through a gradual increase in public education funding, prioritising teachers' salaries, school infrastructure, learning materials and equal access to education. The additional spending will be financed through a fairer and more progressive tax system, while reviewing inefficient public expenditure. Our goal is to guarantee universal, high-quality public education for every child in Marevia, regardless of their family's income or place of residence. We will publish annual spending targets and review progress throughout the term to ensure this pledge is fully delivered before the following election.”
