Sixteen percent on the lowest earners is highway robbery when folks are already struggling to put food on the table—it’s time to drop it to ten percent, full stop. Taxing people who can least afford it is just wrong, and we’re not asking for fairness, we’re demanding it. The government takes enough already, so cut the rate and let the little guy keep what’s theirs.
