We’re shelling out just $33 a head for infrastructure and transport while the rest of the world spends over $1000, and we’re still sitting here wondering why our roads are crumbling and our trains are stuck in the last century. Ninety-seven percent of our peers are outspending us by a mile, but our politicians act like $910 per person is some kind of fantasy—meanwhile, we’re the ones stuck in potholes and late to work while they pat themselves on the back for doing so little.
