Rationale

To ensure equitable access to public services for all of the officially recognised linguistic minorities in our country, it is necessary that our Public Administration speak more languages. As this only concerns core services, the costs will be contained and new jobs for translators will be created.

Proposed Changes

1

Official Language Policy
Previous law
Single official language for all official documents and courts
