“This proposal asks workers to give something up on almost every page. A longer working week. Less annual leave. Fewer safeguards when land is bought by foreign investors. We don't think that's a fair exchange. People have fought for shorter working hours and paid leave over generations because they improve health and quality of life. Those gains shouldn't be rolled back just because it's presented as an economic reform. A stronger economy is worth very little if the people creating that wealth end up with less time, less security and fewer rights.”
