Voting record

Every vote must state a public reason. Most recent first.

“ADFR will oppose this bill. We believe the transition towards stronger environmental protections has already been gradual, giving citizens and businesses ample time to adapt. As a prosperous society, we have the means, including economics ones, to meet these standards, and the environmental challenges we face cannot be postponed indefinitely. The more we wait, the higher the price future generations will pay. As always, the budget allows the cabinet to support both poor families and smaller, struggling businesses in this transition.”

No

“We all want a transition that people can keep up with. But slowing it down doesn't make it easier in the long run. Every year we delay action, the environmental damage grows and the costs of dealing with it grow with it. Rolling back protections now means passing an even bigger bill to the next generation. Climate policy should help people through the transition.”
