Provision for the People Budget

Proposed by Compassionate Collective · Passed 2 Jun 2021

✅ Passed

Rationale

The budget aims to satisfy the people's will by increasing Infrastructure, Media, Education, Healthcare, Welfare, Foreign aid, Business Support and Defence spending above our peer average albeit at the cost of reduced spending on Justice, as well as consolidating the tax brackets by decreasing the tax rate on low earners to 15% and increasing high earner tax rate to 45%, separating each tax bracket by a 10% difference.

Figures show the previous budget where they changed the new value.
