Name of the State

The state shall be known commonly as Nördereich.

This Constitution may be amended only by a supermajority vote of
greater than two thirds of all seats of the Hoher Rat
and greater than two thirds of all seats of the Unterhaus
.
No amendment shall take effect within 2 years of any previous amendment, nor may any amendment be proposed while another remains under debate.✏️

Suffrage
Art. IV
The Reichskanzler🔒 shall be directly elected by the people every 72 months. The candidate with the most votes wins. This office holder shall be the Head of Government. The Unterhaus may call a vote of no confidence in the Reichskanzler, requiring 75% of those voting to pass. A bill that has passed the legislatures fails if the Reichskanzler's party votes against it, abstention counting as a pass.✏️

Art. V
Nördereich does not have a monarchy.

Art. VI
The Supreme Court of Nördereich shall be the final arbiter of the law of Nördereich. Any party may appeal to it on the ground that a law in force is unconstitutional, that a cabinet member or the holder of an elected office is acting illegally, or that a constitutional amendment is invalid. The Court shall hear the parties of Nördereich, and its justices shall rule by majority. Its rulings take direct effect and are not subject to appeal.
