Rationale

Gig corporations exploit working-class labor by denying basic human protections. We must end this exploitation. Guaranteeing minimum pay and accident insurance restores dignity to platform workers, secures their safety, and ensures labor is protected over profit.

“Gig workers are independent contractors with their own flexible schedule, it wouldnt make sense to provide them basic protections. we reject this bill”

“This social-democratic bill is a frontal attack on the freedom to enterprise and the flexibility that drive the success of the platform economy. By imposing rigid constraints and disguised employment burdens on independent workers, this text will destroy thousands of flexible jobs and penalize those who choose autonomy. Over-regulating independent work under the guise of social protection is ignoring the reality of platforms and killing economic innovation. Instead of helping active workers, this measure standardizes and weighs down a dynamic sector that offers a welcome alternative to traditional employment. We vote no to this stifling state control!”
