The Fair Share Budget of 2023
Proposed by Workers' Alliance Of Holzminden · Passed 24 Feb 2023
Rationale
Retirees got their raise — but Bier Für Holzminden paid for it with a one-point tax bump and a surplus of exactly zero, leaving no room for anything else working families need. This budget goes further. It cuts taxes on low and medium earners, asks high earners and the elite to genuinely contribute, and directs the gain into welfare, healthcare, housing, and education — the services that actually determine whether a paycheck is enough to live on. It cuts Defence and corporate subsidies to pay for it, and still closes with a surplus. This is what a budget looks like when it's written for workers, not around them.
Figures show the previous budget where they changed the new value.
