“The Libertarian Alliance stands in favor of adults being able to make decisions regarding their own bodily autonomy.”
Fjordheim Health and Bodily Autonomy Act of 2023
Rationale
Fjordheim honors bodily autonomy: a broad right to dignified death for chronic suffering, near-universal vaccination with real exemptions, a legal right to mental health care, no ads pushing unhealthy food to children, and organ donation that presumes generosity, not indifference.

| A Better Fjordheim | 11 | Abstain | ABF supports guaranteed mental-health care and strong public health, but this bill bundles those goals with major changes to assisted dying, vaccination mandates, business regulation and organ-donation rules. Because it mixes policies we support with measures that go beyond our core platform, ABF will abstain. |

| Democratic Liberal Platform | 3 | Yes | We fully support this bill. |
| Liberal Platform | 0 | Abstain | Liberal Platform abstains. We share this bill's respect for bodily autonomy where it truly expands it — broadening the right to assisted dying for chronic suffering, and guaranteeing timely mental-health care, are steps we could support on their own. But this package also makes vaccination compulsory and forces private reformulation of food products and ad bans on businesses. Autonomy over one's own body should not be optional in one clause and mandatory in another — a genuine bodily-autonomy standard applies consistently, including to the choice not to vaccinate. We cannot endorse state mandates over personal medical decisions or private enterprise bundled together with reforms we otherwise welcome. Liberal Platform abstains rather than vote against provisions we value. |
| Libertarian Alliance | 0 | Yes | The Libertarian Alliance stands in favor of adults being able to make decisions regarding their own bodily autonomy. |
| Movement For Socialism | 14 | Yes | We support this proposal |
