Rationale

Fjordheim is lacking badly behind our peers across the board and we need to keep up the pace. Our infustracture is the way our nation operates daily. By increasing spending on all section, we are rasing the bar, and expanding our nation, which goverments were scared. The budget is rasing taxes a bit across the classes, still behind our peers.

Proposed changes

  • Increase personal income tax rate on low earners from 5% to 10%
  • Increase personal income tax rate on medium earners from 5% to 15%
  • Increase personal income tax rate on high earners from 5% to 25%
  • Decrease spending on healthcare from $14.0bn to $12.0bn
  • Increase spending on education from $9.0bn to $13.0bn
  • Increase spending on housing from $3.0bn to $7.0bn
  • Increase spending on justice, police & internal security from $1.9bn to $6.0bn
  • Increase spending on defence from $2.0bn to $13.0bn
  • Increase spending on environment & climate from $0.8bn to $3.5bn
  • Increase spending on roads & highways from $1.8bn to $4.0bn
  • Increase spending on public transport & rail from $1.5bn to $5.0bn
  • Increase spending on energy infrastructure from $1.1bn to $4.0bn
  • Increase spending on ports & airports from $0.7bn to $2.0bn

This will increase tax take by $43.0bn annually.
