The Workers' Union of Fjordheim proposes a fairer budget. Today, a fisher and a banker pay the same 25% tax rate — that is not fairness, it is a system rigged to protect wealth at the top. We ask the wealthiest to contribute their real share, while cutting taxes on low and middle earners. In return, we invest where it matters: stronger pensions, real healthcare, social assistance, and housing for working families — paid for honestly, without piling more debt onto our children. Defence spending and corporate handouts are trimmed so the welfare state can grow. This budget delivers a surplus, because responsibility and solidarity are not opposites.
