“The end of minimum wage in a nation where retail and consumer goods represent more than a third of the economy is, in all honesty, insanity. We can not support such extreme measure, as it would certainly lead to unrest and revolt, and devastation to the national economy. We can compromise on other articles, but the mere suggestion of ending minimum wage is enough to veto this bill.”
