“Although we are contrarian to Article 3, we understand that most measures would either serve to increase productivity by reducing time lost and stress in workers, thus allowing for greater economic potential, or to combat criminality by removing the homeless from the streets where they can be recruited into gangs or seduced into drug usage. Our opposition to Article 3 is based on the economic costs that it would cause, both linked to the reduced workforce and the payment to those on it, and the risks of workers being fired before the beginning of their parental leave. Thus, we vote YES, and will, as mentioned, propose something else for the Parental Leave Policy.”
