Voting record

Every vote must state a public reason. Most recent first.

Centralist Unity

No

“Although we are entirely in favor of economic development and national innovation, we can not support the radicality of Article 1.”

Radical Republican Union
Voted July 14, 2021
No

“Allthough we support partial economic liberalisation, and articles 5, we cannot vote for this bill given the radicality of the changes it would bring. Especially, switching from regulation of banking to light regulations over night could induce economical chaos and speculation, triggering inflation. We also believe that automation would hurt the workers and trigger massive unemployment, as well as industrial exodus. As for AI, it shall remain in check due to it's dangerous, yet promising, potential. Unregulated AI could lead to massive structural issues, such as unemployment, and severe data breaches or other cybersecurity issues.”

“This is not recovery, it is capitulation to capital. Deregulating banking into light-touch oversight abandons the working class to the same financial recklessness that caused crisis after crisis. Removing all restrictions on AI hands unchecked power over production and surveillance to corporations, with no protection for workers whose labour it will replace. Actively incentivising automation without redistributing its gains means profits for owners, unemployment for the people. Maximising fossil fuel extraction betrays both the environment and the principle that natural resources belong to the collective, not to extractive industry. And weakening rent control, hard caps replaced by mere inflation-linked increases, opens the door to landlords squeezing tenants under the cover of stability. Every article in this bill serves capital, not the people. The Revolutionary Maoist Communist Front will not vote to accelerate exploitation, deregulation, and extraction dressed up as progress.”
