“We are not prepared to go this far on certain specific issues. However, we do agree with some aspects of this package. Among other things, regarding domestic violence. Domestic violence, or violence in other settings, has no place in a modern society. The same applies to the death penalty. What we cannot agree to is the change you wish to make regarding the surveillance powers of our judicial system. We need to be able, in accordance with a court order, to monitor individuals and groups in order to truly crack down on organised crime. Consequently, we cannot support this package.”

“Why We Must Vote AGAINST The Justice System Modernization Act of 2021 weakens public safety, undermines parental authority, and compromises our national security under the guise of reform. Eroding Accountability: Raising the criminal age to 16 creates a dangerous loophole for youth crime, failing victims and offering zero deterrence. Overreaching into Families: Banning parental discipline by constitutional mandate crosses the line, replacing family authority with state intrusion. Blinding Law Enforcement: Banning critical security tech like facial recognition deprives police of vital tools needed to fight terrorism and organized crime. Creating a Safe Haven: Banning extraditions risks turning our nation into a sanctuary for foreign fugitives. Vote AGAINST this act to protect our victims, respect family autonomy, and keep our communities safe.”
