Add an amendment: “The right of every law-abiding citizen of Broadlands to own, possess, and car…”
The right of every law-abiding citizen of Broadlands to own, possess, and carry firearms shall not be infringed.
The individual right to bear arms shall be recognized as a fundamental liberty, serving both the protection of personal safety and the preservation of the free society.
No law shall prohibit the lawful possession or carrying of firearms solely on the basis of their ownership, provided that such possession does not constitute an immediate and demonstrable threat to the safety of others.
The Government shall have the authority to establish reasonable standards concerning the safe and responsible use of firearms, but no regulation shall unjustifiably burden the fundamental right of the individual to keep and bear arms.
This right shall be protected as an essential liberty of the people of Broadlands and shall not be abolished by ordinary legislation.
